Soccer Practice Cone

Practice makes perfect as they say. With this tutorial you’ll get some practice using the Revolve effect and learn how to make a soccer practice cone!
STEP ONE
Using the Pen Tool, draw out the following shape:

I filled the shape with an orange color.
STEP TWO
With the Selection Tool (the black arrow), click on your shape to select it. Now go to Effect > 3D > Revolve. I set the following options:

Make sure you have Preview checked and play around with the settings. You can decide on what type of highlighting you’d like to see. Here is my final result:
